FINE ARTIST | J.D. OKHAI OJEIKERE
As you may or may not know, we at OGA are descendents of Africa and quite specifically we sprung from the loins of African women. We recognize and respect these women as our first style icons. They taught us to lead with substance and finish in style. With that said we give a head nod to Mr. J.D. Okhai Ojeikere for so masterfully documenting the beauty and elegance of the patterned crowns of African women. Respect the crown.
P.S. Look out for J.D. Ojeikere, Nigerian Photographer: Sartorial Moments and the Nearness of Yesterday exhibition at the MOAD this Summer 2013.
